Hello there! I’m Kim Knox, a Texas coast native starting my second year at PPMS. I’ve loved calling Missouri home, even if actual winter weather is still a very mind-boggling concept to me. I always try to bring a little of that coastal warmth into everything I do!
In my classroom, our main focus is building a reading- and writing-rich environment. We read widely, write often, and work hard on turning big thoughts into powerful written words, which happens to be a skill middle schoolers are surprisingly gifted at when you give them the mic.
When I’m not grading papers, you’ll usually find me traveling, spending time with family, or sipping a cup of tea while plotting my next read. I’m excited for another wonderful school year!
